Bible Interpretation (Hermeneutics) is the art and science of Bible interpretation. This module is designed to equip the student to accurately interpret the Bible for personal study or in sermon preparation. The student will become acquainted with and learn to apply the most widely accepted rules for Bible interpretation, including contextual, historical, cultural, and grammatical interpretation. Special emphasis is given to the role and influence of the Holy Spirit in interpreting the Scriptures, and the proper application of the Scriptures.

This module provides in-depth insight into the Biblical history of our blood covenant as revealed in both Old and New Testaments with emphasis upon the Scriptural importance of the blood covenant and an awareness of its principles, application, and influence on the partakers.  Specific topics include a historical record of blood covenants, Old Testament types and shadow pointing to the blood of Jesus, and examples of covenant relationships.  Attention is given to understanding our personal relationship with God the Father through the blood of Jesus Christ

The desire for acceptance pressures people to perform for the praise of others. Although forgiven by God, many people enter their Christian life with a wrong self-perception because of baggage from the past. The Search for Significance course will demonstrate the frustration and hopelessness of searching for a lasting sense of self-worth in the world and show how this sense of self-worth can be found, as we trust in Christ and what He has done for us.

This class examines the importance of Worship in the Church and in the believer’s individual life and is conducted over the entire course of your 2 year study. Various types and methods of praise and worship are discussed along with an emphasis upon practical application. We will focus on developing an awareness of the presence of God throughout the day, examine the progression of worship and the role of God’s Word in our life of worship. When responding to Martha regarding her complaint about her sister Mary, Jesus said, “one thing is necessary…” which Mary had chosen. Living in His presence, focused upon His Word is that one thing. This study will aid in developing that awareness.

Every believer should learn how to use his faith because Hebrews 11:6 says, “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Faith is the natural response toward God from a human heart that is convinced that He loves them and will keep His word. This assurance gives the believer great stability and strength and causes him to rise up above the circumstances of life and see God’s hand of strength.

In this course, students are taught what the faith of the believer is and what it is not, how faith is obtained, the basic elements of faith, and how to use their faith to accomplish the purposes of God.
