in this course we explore the principles of homiletics, which is the art and science of preaching. Why preaching is necessary, what goes into sermon preparation, determining the purpose of a sermon, identifying the parts and developing a sermon outline, and principles of successful sermon delivery will all be examined. Special consideration will be given to connecting with the audience and getting the desired response from the people.
