The purpose of this course is to help the student become familiar with the periods of Church History, important leaders, significant issues, great movements and the characteristics of the True Church and to see the significance of Church History as it affects Christians today.

This module will give students an overview of two thousand years of Church History including the people and events that are associated with them beginning with the book of Acts to the present. This is an introductory course that will look at the key persons, events and theological trends that have shaped the church to what we see it as today.

First century Christianity had its roots in Judaism. We will see how the church went through cycles of revival, apostasy and revival again.
