This class examines the importance of Worship in the Church and in the believer’s individual life and is conducted over the entire course of your 2 year study. Various types and methods of praise and worship are discussed along with an emphasis upon practical application. We will focus on developing an awareness of the presence of God throughout the day, examine the progression of worship and the role of God’s Word in our life of worship. When responding to Martha regarding her complaint about her sister Mary, Jesus said, “one thing is necessary…” which Mary had chosen. Living in His presence, focused upon His Word is that one thing. This study will aid in developing that awareness.
